UK Rigging hold an extensive inventory of rigging equipment to cater for a wide variety of rigging requirements.
In most cases, UK Rigging carry out the complete rigging package including a site survey, early stage drawings and planning, provision of equipment and rigging personnel to supervise and carry out the job.
Alternatively, some clients opt to just hire equipment or book rigging personnel.
UK Rigging equipment is inspected, tested and maintained to a very high standard. Lifting equipment is inspected as required by the Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998 (LOLER) and all electrical equipment is subject to regular PAT testing. We operate a register of thorough examination for all of our equipment.
Equipment is always supplied ready for the event, with equipment manuals where necessary, recognisable colour coding and cases designed, built and labelled for ease of use.
UK Rigging stock various hoists, the main stock consisting of CM Lodestar and Prostar chain hoists. These hoists come in a range of sizes, 136kg, 250kg, 500kg, 1000Kg and 2000Kg and various specifications to suit the task they are required for.
CM hoists can be controlled locally via a pickle plugged directly into the hoist, or via a low voltage hoist controller. Any number of hoist controllers can be linked together to control a number of hoists. Controllers are supplied with extendable 8 way or 16 way handsets.
UK Rigging own a massive selection of truss including heavy duty, medium duty, light duty, tower truss, litebeam, circular sections and ground support structures. All truss is available in sections of varying lengths and circles of varying diameters.
UK Rigging stock a variety of drapes, often used to surround or partition an event. UK Rigging often provide systems to hang drapes such as catenary lines, truss systems and tab track systems where a curtain effect is required.
UK Rigging can provide Load Monitoring systems for a variety of industrial and entertainment activities. They are hired out as a package to include Load Cell, Load Cell Hub, Load Cell Display module, shackles, cables and Cell case.
UK Riggings kabuki system is ideal for any drape drop and reveal. The extendable mechanism allows a drape of any width and spacing of eyelets to be used and the simple controller means that the reveal can take place by the push of a button.
